We are back with our next edition of FORTESS XpertTalks, this time in a new format and a topic that is both interesting and pertinent in today’s day and age.
Rajani Seshadri, our chief speaker of the day, currently champions the cause of inclusiveness and gender diversity at the workplace through her organization ‘indePenn’.
Rajani co-founded ‘indePenn’ to provide resources, support, and a helping hand to women on a break wanting to get back to work. In our Xpert Talks session this month, Rajani will be leading a discussion on “Re-imagining work and women-friendly workplaces” along with two other dynamic leaders – Indu Malhotra, Vice-President at a leading IT Company and Ganapathy S, Founder & CEO Vajra Global.
Drawing on their diverse experiences of dealing with workplace challenges faced by the women population, the eminent panel will discuss their views about redefining policies & procedures to accommodate the changing demands, creating HR frameworks including performance management to suit these redefined work structures, issues such as sensitising the organisation on such situations, etc. Apart from policies & procedures, the cultural shift towards recognizing and addressing biases and barriers that can hinder individuals’ opportunities and advancement based on their gender, will also be discussed.
As business leaders across sectors & companies, I hope this session piques your interest and each of you can bring to the table your experiences, opinions & ideas on driving a meaningful change towards building workplaces that are truly equitable and inclusive.
