Vish Iyer comes with four decades of multi-disciplinary experiences across industries and geographies, the longest and the most recent being in the IT Industry since 1991. He has been with Tata group since 1991 and with Tata Consultancy Services since 2006. He is currently a management consultant and an advisor to a boutique Investment Bank on IT Industry acquisitions.
He is the recipient of the Leading CEO Award by Singapore Human Resource Institute (SHRI) in the year 2013. He is the past Chairman of CII-India Business Forum in Singapore. He served on the Board of Advisors to the School of Information Systems of the Singapore Management University. His contribution to the Indian IT industry comes from several executive roles played in Tata group and in IBM.
At TCS, he held a bouquet of positions including – President of TCS Asia Pacific, Global Head of Strategy, Global Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs, CFO Global Operations; He was the first Country CFO for IBM in India and later Director of Acquisitions IBM Global Services Asia Pacific; Earlier with Tata Group as CFO & EVP at Tata Elxsi Ltd.
Vish is a silver medalist from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a qualified Company Secretary. He is an active Rotarian and a golfer. His wife Gita is a trained Counselor and they have two children.
