Feedback:
This is brilliant. Shiva – an excellent exposition on the idea. The masterstroke is in linking the idea to 2030 sustainability goals – this gives real challenges and goal/target to solve for on a time bound basis. – V.K.Raman

Siva, your goal of taking biomimicry to all schools is laudable. It however has a prerequisite. There should be 100s of examples, case studies created by practitioners using biomimicry concepts . As they say proof o the pudding is in its eating. Children can be motivated to learn and practice ,when armed with numerous successfully carried out use cases. – Parasuram Balasubramanian
Interesting concept with huge potential. Nicely presented. Thanks to Shiva, Murali and Annapoorna. – Venkatakrishnan Vatsaraman
Shiva, Fantastic energy and clarity, as usual. Great presentation. – Nagaraj
Creating workbooks in regional languages is a great idea. – Vijay Prasad B
There is an opportunity to create a certification program for coaches and trainers who can take this initiative to next level – Sanjay BHARGAVA
Thanks for the great presentation – Jamuna
Thanks Shiva for these leads – really excellent!! More important is this approach could be a way to look at systems differently. To help us reframe them so a novel solution might well emerge. As you rightly pointed out, this system resonates with Sustainability since sustainability is a defining principle of Nature. Many thx! – Kavi Arya
Thanks Shiva for sharing the wealth of knowledge and information – Padmaja Krishnan
Dear Shiva,
Very effectively articulated presentation. Post your presentation I gave a thought on the overall take away from the session. I perceived two fork approach going forward :-
(1) Consideting Sevalaya School as a role model to replicate the same in other provinces. This part many of our members have touched upon during the session itself. We will finally be able to recon the best practice.
(2) Explore the research part BIO-MIMICRY. Each member of Fortess is highly talented and with phenomenal technical background and the group is blessed by spearheading visionaries like Mr. Ramadorai and Mr. Mahalingam. We can think of collaboration with global research organization on this subject as you are there as an SME with a focus to nurture more on technological benefit for the social benefit.
Mother Nature is the ultimate teacher for all of us ( your presentation had nicely demonstrated that ) whether it is today’s modern mathematics or modern physics like Quantum Biology ( Photosynthesis).
Above is my very personal perception and after thought of your session.
I will keep in touch with you , Shiva. – Debashis Bandho
We can make a presentation on kalvi40 in fortess as implementing new ideas like biomimicry in government schools with local language was discussed. This is just getting started in sirkali school ( which Chandra is supporting). We made a demo to HM and teachers. The entire syllabus from 3rd to 8th std is video recorded and digitized. Already 100 Govt schools have adopted this. Chandra we can present this in fortess. The person behind this, Mr. Prem kumar was in TCS.
I am part of this Kalvi40. – Hema Gopal
