Fortess was elated and proud to invite for our Engagement program this month, K Ananth Krishnan, Chief Technology Officer of TCS. The Innovation story at TCS has been nothing short of phenomenal and the several success stories that it has created, are lessons to take pride & learn from. As Ananth and team joined us for an engaging session, we looked at:

• A brief overview of Ananth’s journey as the CTO of TCS, driving and incubating innovation
• Interesting case studies on what worked and what did not
• Nurturing of start-ups as part of the Co Innovation partner Network (COIN) and creating an eco-system of intrapreneurs within TCS
• Exclusive presentation on Digital Impact Square (DiSQ)

The session included an open floor where Fortess members interacted with Ananth & the TCS Innovation team to discuss and derive solutions for a few questions we had in mind, such as i) How does Fortess ensure that we come out with break through innovative solutions in the social space, especially in the Education and Healthcare sectors ii) How does Fortess develop on its mission to create an Angel funding eco-system supporting start-ups in the social sphere? & much more. The discussions proved to be very effective. We will be following these up with deepdive sessions with the TCS Innovation team to continue the association.
